I use the ECMWF model for its smaller resolution. :) But its good to keep the larger ones in mind. ;)

            @Korina

I usually prefer ICON-D2. If I don't like its prediction, I also look at ECMWF :-)

Btw, is there any chance that Windy would also display the Aladin model?

@Korina Depending on the region, but mostly ECMWF is the winner :-)

I refer to the ECMWF most of the time. This is because most of my users use VFR and cloud ceiling is well captured by ECMWF.
My hope is that one day in future we have a model with a kilometre or less resolution.

Here in Switzerland in the Alps I use the ECMWF weather model and have good experience with it.

@Korina My most used weather forecast model is ECMWF

Living in Vienna, Austria, my standard model is ECMWF for a longer-term overview, and ICON-D2 for maximum accuracy in the short term.

Weather radar and Satellite are my favourite "models"!

but to be precise I would say ecmwf default given that it historically verifies better, and then check the others models if i care a little more

Basicamente uso dos modelos aunque , el principal y mejor se adapta a mi region de Argentina es el ECMWF, y luego GFS

I mostly use ECMWF followed by Meteoblue :)

I live in So. Cal, and tend to rely on ECMWF for the wind, but GFS for swell forecast. That said, I actually use the compare function a lot, and if those two vary greatly, majority rules.

@Korina I use and compare all of them, but the one I use the most is ECMWF.

The model I use the most is ECMWF. It better fits my area.

I do tend to rely heavily on the default favored ECMWF model for my cloud coverage prediction needs for airborne survey priority planning, but then temper its depiction with the ICON and the HRRR models. When those three are in decent agreement then I take that as a high confidence level. When they are disparate then I drill down more in to other atmospheric feeds (for example the realtime water vapor depictions) and look at what NAM & GFS have to say.

I've mostly been using ECMWF but love the compare feature. I'm in North America and have recently been exploring HRRR model in more detail.

My preferred model is ICON-D2 for the very detailed wind and clouds layers'
I use to compare it often with ECMWF and with the even more detailed UKV and AROME if I am in an area they cover.

However the most precise model is most of times ECMWF (despite the larger resolution area, they are so good to guess precipitation), ICON-D2 follows

I am most of time in Easter Denmark but I often visit North France and North Italy

The model I use most is GFS, is the most accurate in my Location, I also check ECMWF.
