Re: Propose a NEW LAYER / FEATURE You'd like on Windy

Any possibility for a layer indicating Chlorophyll, I believe milligrams/cubic meter are the parameters.

        Hi Capt’n
I guess you would like to get a layer of chlorophyll amount over the ocean, not over land.
        Copernicus provides such data

I am not sure I understand this answer? I don't think we are wanting to find another tool for this data when planning for fishing. There are other tools but I choose Windy for other ocean conditions such as sea temperature and I want to be able to overlay sea temp spots with chlorophyll shots to plan a 60 mile run for tuna

When I gave the source of chlorophyll data via Copernicus, my aim was NOT to drag Windy users to this website. There are many layers in Windy whose data is provided by Copernicus. So my answer was for Windy developers in case they want to add a “Sea chlorophyll” layer and to give them a data source. For any new layer in Windy a data source must be found. It is not Windy developers who create the data, they just allow to visualise it.
