Before the latest Windy update, it was showing lightening strikes and even vibrating my phone slightly with a sound every time there was a lightening strike somewhere. Well today I updated the Windy app to the latest version and it’s storming big time outside and the app isn’t showing lightening on the thunderstorm map for some reason like it was before the update.

@Chuck-Purnell Hi, lightnings should already work now. There was an outage of these data in the last few hours.

@Ondřej-Šutera still no lightening sound nor haptic…except inconsistently and periodically. It is visually evident.

@Bob-davallou Could you please define the issue since I tested our app and this functionality now and there is no issue with lightnings.

@Ondřej-Šutera Hi, when I open the app, I often see numerous lightening strike icons. Periodically and briefly, I will hear and feel the corresponding sound and haptic elements associated with lightening. For the majority of time, the sound and haptic show up for a couple of seconds, but generally they do not show up at all. Using current iOS on recent iPhone and iPad. Hope this is explanation is clear. I’d guess that I see the effect maybe 1 out of 10 times. Thank you for the reply.

@Bob-davallou I am sorry for the confusion, we already tested the new version 39.3 and there should be a new source for lightnings, so I would recommend to wait for this new version. Thank you for your patience.
