Premium subscription on iPad not available on iphone

I subscribed Premium on my iPad, expecting to get the 10 day forecast on my iphone.
I get a message saying “we didn’t find any purchases to restore. All purchases are linked to your Apple account. Make sure you are trying to restore…etc etc”
I only have one Apple account, and my phone and iPad are linked to that account.
If my ipad can get Premium, do I also get it on my iphone? Maybe I have to buy a subscription for each device?

Hi @Paul-Collett-2, no, it is not necessary to purchase one subscription for each device. You only need to purchase one, which is assigned to an account on the device, where you made the purchase. Then you can login to this account on all other devices and you should access your Premium.
