Wind animation doesn't work for mblue model
-
There is a bug in wind animation, it never shows mblue model data...
I have a screen recording of that behavior, just let me know where to post it. -
@lrupnicki
Yes, this is because Meteoblue is not a gridded model. It enables only to give point forecast. So there no way to make a weather map with this model. And even Meteoblue in their website, they don’t show a weather map from their major model. There is no bug.When you want to post a picture :

@idefix37
That's what I can see in meteoblue app, I assumed that the data is available for external apps...Anyway, I didn't notice this behavior before and since the last update just happens , I assumed it was due to the new version of windy.
I was going to attach a video recording of this behavior but... I don't have enough privilege. Hmmm...
Best,
L.

Please check which model is used to plot this weather map.
I dont use the mobile app, but sometime only their website. And METEOBLUE MODEL IS NOT USED in the weather map.Which behavior are you talking about?

Meteoblue app has a "nems auto" as a model setting.
There is also an option for wind animation as per screenshot.
The behavior is that windy, when showing wind forecast with mblue model, is using a different model for wind animation which in my case (location) is usually totally different (wind direction and speed).

@lrupnicki
In Windy there is the NEMS model also available as weather map over Europe. This model is NOT the Meteoblue model !! It is just one of the models they use in the Multimodel.
It is like that for many years. Nothing to do with the new app !
Yes, of course the forecast of NEMS in the map is different from the point forecast by Meteoblue. It is like that in Windy and it is the same in Meteoblue app and website ! NEMS forecast is different from the forecast of the METEOBLUE model.
