      @IPDB @vezzavide @Rubilin Can you provide further info about your device? Model and Android version? I supposed that you have version of Windy 39.1.4 but please check if there is any update available.

        @Ondřej-Šutera yes it's the 39.1.4
        The model is Huawei Nova 5T, with android 10.

        Worth mentioning that today I just can't reproduce the issue! I'm pretty sure it happened while switching between layers though. Yesterday I tried to restart both app and phone but neither worked - and today it's just working fine.

          @vezzavide Can you please let us know if you are able to reproduce it again?

            @idefix37 my phone is Samsung note 20 ultra.
            The bug appears every time I choose another model. Very repeatable. Overall, the new version of app gui is less useable. It was excellent before.

              @Ondřej-Šutera Today it happened again (this time with a Pixel 7, android 13, still version 39.1.4). It seems to be happening after opening other pages - such as a webcam or the latest article describing the new windy release features. I'm not sure about changing model?
              Still, it's not consistent for me and I can't always reproduce it.

              The only way to get the timeline to appear again is to close and open the app.

                @Ondřej-Šutera ok new update. It has nothing to do with opening pages or changing models. It happens consistently after each "swipe back" gesture. If a swipe back is done at any time, in any point of the app, the timeline permanently disappears (until the next restart).

                I guess this also explains these inconsistent reports: swiping back is not the only way to exit pages and menu. Sometimes we go back tapping on the X, or directly on the map. In those cases, the timeline stays in place.

                  Android App: Same issue as reported by others : Timeline disappearing with no way to get it back except to exit and restart app. Can we roll back to previous version as it does not feel the new gui is as intuitive.

                    Same here, swiping back (even directly after starting the app) will make the timeline disappear.

                    I found the [restart the app] button in the Dev console, which brings back the timeline. I find this more convenient than closing and restarting the app manually.
                    The Dev console can be found in the main menu, all the way down. It's the last menu option just above the socials and is named 'Foutconsole' in the Dutch version of Windy.

                      Hi there, we are aware of this issue, which appears when the user uses back gesture or system button on Android devices. Our colleagues have been working on the fix of this issue. Thank you for your patience.

                      Meanwhile, to avoid this behavior, it is possible to use our buttons in app.

                            Hi, I just purchased the premium version and the timeline has disappeared. I see no way in the settings to restore it. I am on Android and the phone is a Google pixel 7 pro.
