1 hour forecast resetting
-
@Ondřej-Šutera Hi Ondřej, the latest one - 39.020140.
-
Hello @Brancis ,
In the last version I modified the switching of 1H and 3H predictions so that it is switched only in 2 cases, namely- The user logs out of the iPhone app
- The user's premium expires.
Previously there was one more option that if I have a non-valid token, it switches, but I have cancelled that. This way it can happen that he has 1H prediction ticked and it shows him 3H, but the build should be quite minimal and it should fix itself. It can happen when you don't turn on either the watch or the iPhone App for a long time, and you have a background task on the watch that refreshes that token blocked by the system.
Please email me, in what situation, does the forecast switch and I will take a look at it again

@SimonUrbanek Hi Simon, I sent you the video of the behaviour 1h vs 3h via personal message. Thank you for checking it and sorry for late reply.
-
@SimonUrbanek Ahoj Simon, you mentioned last time that this will be fixed with next release once the watchOS 10 will be introduced. Have you please been able to fix it? I still have the same issue with resetting it from 1h to 3h :/ thank a lot
-
@Brancis Do you have the latest version of iOS on both devices and the latest version of Windy?
-
@Ondřej-Šutera Ahoj Ondrej, yes, I do have.
-
@SimonUrbanek Hi Simon, I still do have this issue, have you already implemented the fix please? Thank you.
-
@Brancis Unfortunately, not yet. However, it is still number 1 priority for colleagues. Thank you for your patience.

I have a similar recurring problem where, upon opening the Windy Apple Watch App from a complication it shows a 3-hour step forecast. I have the setting for 1-hour steps enabled. If I go to settings, it confirms this. Then going back to the forecast it appears to reload with 1-hour steps.
One difference to the above reports however is I don't need to change any of the settings. It seems that opening the settings screen is enough to correct the problem.
I've uploaded a screen recording of the behaviour on my device: https://d.pr/v/USsdYc
This doesn't happen every time I open the app and I haven't identified a particular pattern besides it occurs often enough to be irritating.
When it does happen, the "Account" section of the Settings is temporarily unset which sounds like the watch app could be losing logged in state temporarily?
Is this still something the developers are aware of? Or has anyone found a permanent fix?

Hi @suty and @simonurbanek I can confirm that I have also still this issue, looks like it is behaving for me the same way as @ctd_ mentioned, it is enough to go to the settings and it is working again, unfortunately only for some time :/
