Default Zoom level

I’ve seen this mentioned before but it could use attention. This app is nearly perfect.
I see the option to set a default location and map type. But there is no default zoom level. Requiring me to zoom multiple times.
Is there any plan to add this option in the future? Anyone else feel the same?

@Erik-Richardson I agree. My other issue with the recent update is that when I manually adjust the zoom (the built in default is too zoomed in) the location changes, and when I use favourites to go back to my preferred location the map zooms in again. This is very annoying

@Erik-Richardson 100% agree with this request. I don’t need to see the whole western US, when I’m looking for my local location. It has my home setting that it zooms too, but I’d like to see a zoom level nine on login. I can do this with “Save last location” which actually works as long as I never move the map, but that’s silly

I fully agree! Auto-zoom is awful, default zoom levels need to something that can be changed by users.

The default zoom level in the iOS app and in the widget is ridiculously huge. I don’t care what’s happening across half the US, nor do I care what’s happening across the entire state I live in. There’s no option to change it, and no valid reason why the option isn’t available. I only want to see what’s happening within maybe a 40-50 mile radius at most. I just bought premium for this app literally minutes ago and I already want my money back. This is absolutely stupid design. Should have just stuck with Carrot weather, this whole app and their developers suck. What a waste of money.
