How to send precipitation data - PWS

Hello,
I'm building a custom weather station and I'm a little confused about the precipitation (precip measurement), is it for the last full hour or last 60 minutes?
Would really appreciate some clarification, thanks!

@Nicholas-Baba I'm not sure what you're asking, an example would be if my station records precipitation at 6:10, would I send this measurement for all reports from 6:10 - 7:10 or just would I send it for the last hour, which would be 7:00 - 8:00?
