On the wave map you could tap the wave height arrow and it would show a or less that had the swell direction height wind directions at a glance. From what I see you lost easy access to variable data.

Dear Sirs,
I’ve been using the Windy app to give me an accurate overview of forecast weather I can expect in a route I’ll be flying.
The forecasts were often very accurate and are an invaluable tool in the flight planning process.Now I seem to have lost that ability and you now only show historical weather which is pretty useless for the information I need.
PLEASE PLEASE, can you tell me how I can view the forecast weather as I used to be able to.
Your urgent assistance would be much appreciated.

When I long tab a location, an info bar appears at the top , showing the wind speed and direction. The bar disappears after a few seconds. Why??
I would like to see how wind speed evolves over time, when I press the play button at the bottom, but the values and the bar disappear. Very user unfriendly. Or do I miss anything?

In Settings you can change the display duration of the picker
and the bar at top of screen :

how do we get the winds to display at the location of the picker like they used to, instead of looking up, looking down, adjust time, look up again, look down again... who's idea was this? Somebody fire that person. -
