The temperature is much warmer at around 90°.<br />

The temperature shown in the Satellite view has nothing to do with the air temperature at ground level.<br />
It is the temperature measured by infra red sensors of satellites, used to know the height of cloud tops. Forget it at ground level.<br />
I think the confusion can be made because this temperature and the color scale are displayed with the 3 types of view i.e. blue, visible and infra+.</p>
