Default Prediction Model

Despite advice regarding using Use Last Overlay as a means of retaining a default prediction model, this option does not work and on reopening, it defaults to a specific model. Any ideas why and whether it can be resolved?

There are probably 2 reasons:
If you open Windy with the widget.
If you leave Windy with another model, or Radar, Satellite….Any layer not provided by the model.

I also have this same issue so if you solved it then also help me with it.
