No fog

The forecast mostly show no fog at the coast of northern Norway, even when there are often much fog when we have north and northwest wind at sunny days.

Weather models are not effective at predicting fog, in particular when fog is due to local conditions like near-shore fog.
Inshore fogs, such as advection fog and, but less importantly, the evaporation fog, are not easily predictable.
So it is advisable to rely on local meteorological services.
In Windy you can consult the observations (METAR) and forecasts (TAF) of Airports near the coast but it doesn’t give information about fog at sea.
