New App Upgrade not functional

Hi Windy, I have been using Windy for a number of years now as part of my Aircraft flying/planning data. It has been something I have come to rely on and was most of the time very accurate.
Your recent upgrade to the App has made it almost unusable. With the old version, i could bring up the map for the location I was interested in, select wind gusts, tap the location and the speed would be displayed as i slide the bar below through the time and days. Now when it displays the wind speed it disappears when I slide the time/days bar. I cannot just slide through to get an overview of the wind conditions coming up.
This is only one item. Please bring back the old version functionality.

@mcritch Hi, you can still do this with the new picker as well, you only need to turn on Always on mode in your settings.
