How To Use The "Observation vs Forecast“ question
-
Following the directions of the pinned message, I do not get a comparison in the gray box as the directions specify. I only get the past forecast, not the station.
Perhaps this only works on the Mac? I have not tried that. On iOS app and via the browser on iOS I do not get the compare for the station, only the model in the gray box.
Edit:
I tried on the Mac and it dies work as expected. I was hoping this worked on iOS, as nearly 100% of the time, I use my phone.You can compare on iOS with your competitors app.
Hopefully this will be addressed, unless I am doing something wrong.
Any help would be great. Thx.

@Dan-Bezak
Yes, in the Observation vs Forecast on the website you can compare the reported values from the weather station and those predicted by the weather model.
Unfortunately this is no longer possible in the new mobile app. Hope the 2 lines is back shortly. At the moment in the mobile app, the predicted parameters are only shown as dotted curve or faded symbols.
For example this is a screenshot from iPad before the last update : -
@idefix37 Thanks I did try on the Mac since I wrote the original thread and this is an awesome feature.
It’s good to see it used to work on the iPad. Hopefully an update comes soon to get it back to iOS.

@Dan-Bezak @idefix37 we checked this feature in old versions, and this possibility has never been available in the mobile versions of Windy.

@Ondřej-Šutera
On iPad it was. -
@idefix37 Yes, you are correct and the reason was the desktop version on iPad. Unfortunately, iPad will be kept on the mobile version now.

@Ondřej-Šutera
It’s a pity because there are many mobile apps which offer a phone app and an iPad app separately. -
…and also their competitor has this on mobile.
