v39 lost the altitude label from wind layer
-
Before v39, wind layers always display the altitude on the upper right corner. It's gone. Please restore it.

@hangInThere
Could you be more explicite. What do you mean with "wind layers" ? Does it concern Soundings? -
@idefix37 That Wind icon takes me to the Winds layer.

Depending on the altitude slider position at the bottom of the menu, the Winds layer shows one of 15 different wind layers (ground, 100m, 950hPa, 925hPa, 900hPa, 850hPa, 800hPa, 700hPa, 600hPa, 500hPa, 400hPa, 300hPa, 250hPa, 200hPa, and 150hPa). Looking at the wind layer, I can't tell which altitude it's for, if the screenshot was taken a few days back. Pre-v39, the altitude was always displayed in the upper right corner.

@hangInThere
Now with the v39 release you have to click on screen to see the layer altitude
-
@idefix37 @filip_k The best thing to do is to just put the altitude label back in the wind layer itself. It does not take up much space, but is a piece of crucial information for the win map. Please don't make it difficult for the users.
BTW, that pop up display box does not always show altitudes. Not when reported temperatures is turned on in the wind layer. And even without the reported temperatures, it shows up in the display box sometimes, but NOT always, as now.

@hangInThere Do you have any screenshot of this situation?
-
@Ondřej-Šutera It's a come-and-go problem. Right now it doesn't happen. I don't know what triggered it. But it's moot if you put back the altitude value in the wind layer display. Why fix it when it wasn't broke? Hard to understand. And now you guys really end up breaking it.
