      Hi all
Thanks for this new version. On the contrary of certain posts here, I find this new presentation not so bad. Congratulations to the developers
Nevertheless, I have a few remarks.
First (this could be named a bug) :
As soon as you touch the built-in "return" touch, the screen's low part allowing into the dates/times disappears, so you can do nothing in the map mode and have to exit from the application. It is very boring.
      Second:
The possibility to have quick access to the choice of the different models is missing in map mode. You have to go to the general menu and move to the end to at last access to it. It is not easy!
      Third:
The last but not least! It's a pity you don't propose an option to show wind with arrows and barbs instead of wind particles.

        Bonjour,

I agree with your second point. The choice of model could be done on the map in place of the layer pin button which is used only once (this button could be in the menu)

Concerning your third point, we have already discussed about it with you and I don’t think that the wind barbs would be a nice solution for Windy. Even if the default wind color scale does not allow to get at a glance the overall wind speed field because it is too smoothed. But there are solutions to change it…

@ptizef According to the first point, we are aware of this issue and our team has been already working on a solution.

            @idefix37 thanks for your answer.
I know your policy about wind barbs.I don't agree, but regarding the others qualities of Windy, the result is hightly positive. So I just hope that one day, you will change your mind about that.

              Hi,
It’s not my policy as I am not part of the Windy team.
It is a fact that the wind speed colour scale in Windy is not the best. But you can customise it, and according to your screenshot you did it.
If your custom colour scale is designed with discrete 5 kt steps like wind barbs are, what do these old symbols add more? (An example of this scale is shown in my previous link).
Here is a comparison with an app showing wind barbs predicted with same model (ECMWF) today at 00h CEST time.

I definitively prefer to use the right map rather than the left one. And if you want, I can give you the color range code with the 5 kt steps to test it.
