I assume you use the phone app? Otherwise which device ?

But Satellite layer could be hidden somewhere else. With the new phone app you can pin any layer to get it in the first places. Click the pin on the main screen to get explanation.

Thunderstorms layer and Clouds layer are forecasts.
What do you mean with “I miss the previous Satellite view”?
The Satellite view is still shown in Windy
