      @Ocean-Skipper
      ❤ Something works, at least on desktop: https://i.windy.com/a/548xr/5mo7xh.mp4
      But I miss the option "Save at home only" and can´t delete it from windy page. :/
      Maybe You need a 3rd party screen-recorder?

        @Caefix No thanks ... what else do I need just to use a wheather forecast ... in this case I also can use Predictwind which gives a lot more options.
        Windy was perfect like it was and I can't understand for what reason it-cracks are allowed to test their knowledge in a program that can save lifes.
        Please let them play on another playground ... not on this adults one 😰

          @Siyeza It's incredible that they thought this was a good change. Having to scroll all around on the map, and look at not only the bottom of the screen to see what day/time you're on; but also having to watch the top left to see wind speed! It's wild.. it makes the process of wind forecasting extremely clunky. It was excellent before.

                HATE IT!! You could see wind and gusts in the same icon menu, before. Wind is only 1/3 of the true forecast, without gusts, worthless. Wave and wave hight are good if you are in-shore, offshore swell is key - can't see that anymore in the same menu. Pretty sure the developers there don't understand boating.
                Was the #1 app for planning trips from Great Lakes to Bahamas - looking for something else...

                  I can no longer easily find windspeed for a spot and then see how it is going to change over the day - the reason I use Windy. Why did you break a good app.

                    @Ftjwinfs I didn't update Windy app from v.37, which worked flawlessly for me. But in April they disabled all forecast and maps in v.37. I believe they will also disable v.38 at some point, unfortunately. So now I am looking for a replacement for Windy application.

                      @Pilot2121 Totally agree! What were they thinking of? The buttons for wind and wind gusts are separated so it is not possible to toggle between them. This new version must be for city people.

                          @zxc89228 HI, is it possible to provide your message in English? I can't understand your question from the translation.

                            @Suty
                            I probably got a better understanding from a translator in French.
                            In English it can be:
                            “I am a Chinese user and I would like to check the weather forecast of important (mountain) passes or at relatively precise points on the track when climbing. Will it be possible in the future ? Or does an administrator have any ideas about it ? For example, when checking the snow depth, the difference is very large compared to actual measurement. Can this be improved?”

                            I would reply to @zxc89228 that Windy provide weather forecast from medium resolution global models. With a resolution of about 10km, it is not possible to get very accurate temperature or wind forecasts in mountain. It should be necessary to include high resolution model for mountains in your country. But I am not sure this type of model is available in China.
                            Have you tested Meteoblue model? This model is only available in the point forecast table, not in the map, but it gives generally better prediction in mountains.

                              @SutyOK, I am a Chinese user and I hope to check important passes or relatively accurate points' weather disasters based on statistics when climbing mountains. Is it possible to achieve this in the future or does the official have any ideas? For example, the snow depth is very different from the actual test, can it be improved?

                                  @idefix37 Yes, I've seen it. Thank you for your explanation. As a beginner, I still have a few questions that I'm not clear about, so I'd like to ask: 1. I've looked at many models, and Windy's resolution is already considered very high, especially since it's free. However, I noticed that Meteoblue's model resolution is not as high as the EC model. Will this affect the accuracy of mountain forecasts? 2. Do you have any knowledge about Meteoblue's Point+ feature? If I want to measure the snow depth at a certain pass, can it display the data accurately enough for reference? It doesn't have to be completely accurate, just within a reasonable range of error.

                                    1. The Meteoblue model has no resolution because it is a non-mesh model. It uses several models with different resolutions and takes the closest grid point from each model. Then it makes a correction with the actual elevation of the location and includes AI processing.
                                    2. I have never used their Point + version, so I cannot tell you if it is accurate for snow depth at the passes.

                                      Refreshed (using Brave/chrome) and selected Wind.. nowhere to be found.

                                      Ridiculous!

                                          @Siyeza said in New version is terrible:

                                          New version is terrible. How do I revert to previous version?
                                          I want to mark a spot and see the wind patterns. I do not want a table instead. I need to keep moving the forecast spot. Much easier on old version.

                                          Hi,

                                          I’m also encountering the same frustration with the new version. The older version made it so much easier to mark a spot and quickly view the wind patterns without dealing with tables or repeatedly moving the forecast spot.

                                          If anyone knows how to revert to the previous version or has suggestions for a workaround, please share!
