Widget updating...

Constantly shows as updating and never completing in the notification drop down on my Samsung Galaxy s23 plus ultra.
A software update happened last night and this problem did not occur before that update. This was an OS update concerning security issues.
I always have the latest version of the app so as of this day it is the latest version.

I don't know what the issue is with the Windy App. Other apps continue to work fine in the background and also to display notices in the notification area.
Anyway, after uploading the screenshot to google drive, here is the screenshot as a link.
I'll leave the target for the link available for a couple of months.

I have the same issue. It has been updating for 6 hours. This is the second time this happened. The first time I deleted the app and reinstalled yet a few days later here we are again. This happened only after I paid for the premium service.

@John-Lance @Tom-Erbil we know about the update notification and work on fix in these days. It is one of major priorities of colleagues, so I hope this will be solved soon.

To add to this topic. Does this also goes for the Galaxywatch 6 classic tiles/widget?
The tiles (widgids) are not updating on the watch aswell.
Loving Windy. I'm a premium user since last week. Finally found a weather app that features everything I need.

@Arne-Burghouts Hi, which version of Windy do you have on your Galaxy Watch? I checked the latest version 39.1.5 and it is updated normally.

The app it self works amazing. But the tile (when swiping to the right from the home screen) didn't update.
But, when I type this. It was indeed upto date. Might needed a reboot and reinstall.

I stand corrected.
I added the widget on my watch yesterday night at 00:39 am and it still didn't update. The manual update icon doesn't work either.
If I tab the widget/tile on my watch it goes to the app. And that works fine. But even after opening the app the tile it self won't update its status.

The same problem here after the last update on my OnePlus 9 OxygenOS13.1 - LE2113_13.1.0.590(EX01).
After killing the app, the updating notification comes up soon after reboot. It's been for 4d for now in the silent notifications.
For anyone who wish to get rid of the notification temporarily (bambooCZ), its always possible to deny notifications for an app until the problem will be resolved.

Tap and hold on the notification and tap "Turn off ...":
You can always reallow the notifications. The suggestion works for OnePlus phones, at least.
