YouTube Webcam update and some other updates:

Any YouTube Webcams issues has been fixed. But some uploads may still be skipped, I believe mostly if the image size for YouTube Webcam is very large (higher than the max resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels) and is unable to download the data quick enough.
Webcam upload interval update:
The interval upload time has slightly increase a bit after the YouTube fix:
Current interval upload times as of August 18 2023:15 minutes interval: 25 - 30 minutes average.
30 minutes interval: 40 - 45 minutes average.
1 hour interval: 1 hour and 10 minutes (1:10) - 1 hour and 15 minutes (1:15) average.55+ minutes as a timelapse slider still applies so any next images that are within 55 minute mark since the last/latest archive imagine will not be added into timelapse slider unless it’s a daylight snapshot. Only 1 daily snapshot imagine per day from February 23rd 2022 at approximately 12:00pm UTC time onwards.

Webcam upload interval upload time or imagine refresh time update:
The current interval upload time or imagine refresh time update has just recently been decreased.
Changes to the current interval update or imagine refresh time update:
15 minutes interval: decreased from 30 minutes to 20 minutes average
30 minutes interval: decreased from 45 minutes to 35 minutes average
1 hour interval: decreased from 75 minutes to 65 minutes average.These are the current average time, it can be slightly be less or over the mentioned average mark.

YouTube webcams are temporarily down again so windy won’t upload them even if the YouTube webcams are online, this should be fixed as soon as possible.
There is also currently an issue where no newly imagine are added to the archive list (including embed player mode) but the webcams are still active and running normally, it’s just that you won’t be able to see any recent imagine to the archive list. This should be fixed as soon as possible. Also the first time to see this since January 2022. This only have recently occurred about 22 hours ago from this post.
Ukrainian webcams: there is no updates on when those webcams will appear back on the map, it appears that these Ukrainian webcams are still running normally in the background while been temporarily excluded from the windy map since 1st March 2022. It’s unlikely that they will bring them back.
Nighttime hours webcams: Since as far back as January 2022, windy stopped updating some of the nighttime hours webcam while the source page imagine link is still running normally, anything before January 2022, the nighttime webcams would still run normally without any issues and even before the integrated webcams.travel and lookr.com websites into windy as far back as 2007 (possibility even before 2007 since there are some webcam that were added before 2007).
Now from January 2022 onwards windy will stop updating some of the webcam during nighttime, more webcams have been included that won’t update nighttime webcam after January 2022. It’s unlikely to see this been fixed unless more people reports the bug. The team is part of aware of it recently but unlikely that it will be fixed anything soon.
From January 2022 onwards, the webcam imagine must be bright enough for windy to recognize it and the webcam will still run normally, if the webcam just shows a complete back screen or complete black screen with small dots colors or timestamp, windy won’t upload them.
The current best tip so far to allow windy to update any nighttime webcam is to put the light next to or near your camera and leave the light on for the whole night as there is enough bright rather than the complete back screen and windy will still update them normally as long as the light stays on if this is your real camera.Current webcam interval/fresh time as if 30th September 2023:
15 minutes interval: 18 minutes average
30 minutes interval: 33 minutes average

Update for all Windy webcams as you will only see the latest imagine only for now for the time being, you won’t be able to see any achieve imagines at all showing the last 24 hours, 30 days, 12 months and lifetime as they have temporarily been removed (including on embed player mode). The achieve imagines showing the last 24 hours, 30 days, 12 months and lifetime should be restored as soon as possible the way it normally showed before. The team could possibly be working into some new features in the background for the Windy webcams, that’s my suggestion and thought of that possibility the reason.

Update:
The last 24 hours, 30 days, 12 months and lifetime images have been restored (including on embed player mode) 3 hours ago from this post and you should be able to see them again. It’s possibly because of certain outage on the end of the provider that could effect this.

Any YouTube Webcams is up and running again and after I've looked through much of the windy webcams, it seems that the upload times are more consistent now and not skipping some uploads like previously since for more than a year for some YouTube webcams. Some uploads can still be skipped but less likely like before.

YouTube webcams are temporarily down last 48 hours ago so windy won’t upload them even if the YouTube webcams are online, this should be fixed as soon as possible. Windy webcam are currently unable to process webcams from YouTube domain/source. They are working on the fix and the YouTube camera will hopefully be available soon.

Tips on how to easily know your lifetime date webcam:
If your 12 month images are on a following days of the week:
Sunday = lifetime images will be either on 4th, 11th or 18th
Monday = lifetime images will be either on 5th, 12th or 19th
Tuesday = lifetime images will be either on 6th, 13th or 20th
Wednesday = lifetime images will be either on 7th, 14th or 21st
Thursday = lifetime images will be either on 8th, 15th or 22nd
Friday = lifetime images will be either on 9th, 16th or 23rd
Saturday = lifetime images will be either on 10th, 17th or 24th -

Updates to much of the Australian, Papua New Guinea, Burnt Pine, Lord Howe Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands and some of New Zealand webcams:
Many webcams have been rearranged (location and image URL changed), or permanently disabled/deleted recently. The same thing also happened in November 2022. Back in April 2021 almost 50% of the webcams on windy were permanently disabled/deleted and also losing the 15 minutes upload interval, new ones that were disabled/deleted back in April 2021 were readded to windy again in September 2021. The changes were all reverted 24 hours later after that. Disabled/deleted webcam on windy are not restored and new ones must be submitted to windy.
The cause is the result of the page domain https://myairportcams.com webcam map being changed which affects current webcams on windy image URL link associated with the webcam map.
