<![CDATA[nowcast lightning data instead of Blitzortung.org]]>Hi Windy Team,

I would like to know when you changed the lightning data (lightning detections) source from Blitzortung.org to nowcast (LINET data)?

I would also like to know the reason for the change.

Are you aware of the many false lightning detections we have seen (over Northern Europe at least) yesterday and today? Please see attached snapshot.!
Do this have something to do with the change to nowcast data?

I also use LINET data from nowcast - but i don't see the same false detections as we do in Windy. Do you display some kind of raw unfiltered data on Windy or why do I see this difference between Windy and LINET View (the nowcast software)?
The lightning strike data should be the same...

We had certain cases, when false lightnings were made from Blitzortung, so we wanted to switch to this source.
