Layers List vs. Layers picture icons.

The latest update has layers as pictures vs. the much better and efficient list from Windy.com since time immemorial. In the android app, I understand that the pictures icons are pretty to look at, but they are pretty annoying and functionality frustrating. Please give the option of lists on the next update. A toggle switch or a embedded option in the settings would be nice.

@Disemboweled Unfortunately, there are no plans for the change now. I am sorry about this.

You find the apk of the old version v38 at apkmirror for example. Windy seems to have no motivation whatsoever to adapt some of the bad changes that where introduced with v39.
My consequence was to downgrade to the old app and forget about v39. -
@Ondřej-Šutera Can you please add them to your whiteboard "to do " list then? This is just one of the terrible changes in this version.
Can you please announce in the app (a pop-up on opening?) when the next Beta version is available so we can try it and give feedback before you release another downgrade like this latest version? It used to be SOOOOO good!
