Where I am now is so thick with smoke that visibility is less than 1km and has been for days, yet when I look at radar and satellite, it shows that the sky is clear, and the visibility is stated as 38km. Also, anther effect the smoke has is cooling the area down, which seems to be giving inaccurate readings and forecasts.

This is a major aspect that affects conditions. It makes it a bit frustrating to get an accurate sense of where the weather and conditions are good.

I hope there is a solution that can be added to solve these issues.

Did you look at PM2.5 layer and at Air quality stations if there are any near your location?
About the drop of temperature under smoke cloud, the weather models cannot evidently predict it but Reported temperature from weather stations should show it.
