After several days of the tropical storm forming in the Gulf of Mexico, a system developed that gained strength to tropical storm levels. It has been named Harold and is forecast by the NHC to head for the South Texas coast near the Mexican border.

The tropical storm will not last long and is not expected to intensify into a hurricane.
