@Suty hello , this has happened again, and all this week (i.e. Jan 13th, 2025)
.., so far this week, there has been no radar at all for all of Indonesia on windy, but the neighbouring countries are still functioning.- this is strange because the Indonesia weather radar on the BMKG app (Indonesian meteorology website) is still working and is still offering a radar ( while at the same time the Windy radar is not working.)
Guys, is this a windy issue , or something else?

Hi @outlawcountry, our current source for Indonesian radar data (INA-SIAM) doesn't have current data (latest from
2026-01-09T05:55:00Z).I'll try to check the the app or contact BMKG to see if we can get the data any other way.
Also if you know of other way to get the data, it might be very useful.

I did a rapid search, I found some alternative sources:

@suty @filip_k Today I had some time today, and tried to find further sources for Indonesia, but no luck... Btw edited my previous comment so please be aware of the updates...
Yogyakarta radar, 4 days ago didn't seem to work, but today does, and it correctly displays the radar loop.BMKG on their website (https://www.bmkg.go.id/cuaca/radar/Indonesia) published the announcement:
Perhatian
Saat ini citra radar cuaca hanya dapat diakses melalui aplikasi Info BMKG.Caution
Currently, weather radar images can only be accessed through the BMKG Info application.I donwloaded the application and compared it to the radar of those urls and they correctly display the correct data so they can be used as alternative source.

For some reason, Jakarta (Soekarno–Hatta International Airport) radar on the BMKG app displays a smaller scope, compared to the urls..
