Double tap in iOS should zoom a map without changing the center of the map. See Maps app behavior, for example. It is frustrating that the Windy iOS app behaves differently, and that it’s impossible to zoom Windy map without changing its center.

I do not remember that double tap was never zooming in the Windy iOS app.
Now if you want to zoom in over your home location, long press on the Home button (the small house).
You need to pinch / spread fingers.

What I would definitively prefer is that :

        • Long press would allow to move the map, without showing the new picker (the bloody cross-hair) and the grey pop-up banner.
        • Pinching / spreading would allow to zoom out and in, without showing this picker and banner.
        • Short click would show the picker and banner as now.
        • Second click, when picker and banner are shown, would make them disappearing.

@idefix37 Yes, this weather picker is extremely annoying and slowing down on the android app aswell. Please let this setting be optional.
