As I mentioned in some threads, we have been already testing the new version for Android devices, where this issue is solved. Also, if you need reliable source of information, it is possible to use Windy in the browser, where this issue is already fixed, even in mobile browser.

We are in spain and get the wrong Wind data.
Also true that the value seems to come from upper left Corner.

Value displayed is actually (and wrongly) the value at your top left screen corner..

Its the android app. May be in spanish because eduardo and I are from spain. I dont know. I have a samsung galaxy a52s phone model. The app is 39.1.5 build 2023.08.08 06:50.

I have exacly the same issue. With the radar and other layers it also fails.

Perhaps you could try just running windy alone to make sure it isn't an app interaction.
