"add to quick menu" not retaining layers for next session

When using the website, I try to "add to quick menu" the layers I am interested in and I thought my selections used to be retained the next time I used the website. But lately that is not the case; when I log back into the website, layers that I never select are selected and the ones that I want to see are not.
Please advise.

@Oshe73 I clarified this with colleagues and you are right, but it is actual state of this. We have saved only pinned menu in mobile apps in an account, but the quick menu in the desktop version is not saved anywhere at the moment.
