If you want more detailed information about the cloud cover, you just need to switch from Basic to Meteogram. To see the altitude of clouds.

@Mintorim very often, weather forecast cannot but easily summarized by a simple pictogram ! As @idefix37 suggests, you can check by a simple click the meteogram instead of the basic one. You can also in a second step open the cloud layer and check low, medium and high clouds forecast
