@bantam99 Can you provide the screenshot with the location where the issue persists? I checked Thailand and it looks okay now.

          @Ondřej-Šutera ```

Hi Onderej, a fresh example of the missing rain radar over Thailand.

@Zwanske Okay, this looks like complete outage of our provider, unfortunately, we cannot do much with this now.

@capp-0 Unfortunately, we cannot affect this. We use certain source to get these data and they have an outage. We are sorry about this.

Thailand is down again and has been for a few days now. Not likely I will renew my subscription when the tool I use the most isn't reliable!

Another days rain with no radar. Or is there rain? Can't see.

I know you get your feed to put into the model from someone else, I hope you are at least talking to them about what is going on.

Apparently Windy is getting the radar data from the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) as you can see on Windy website.
                          https://www.tmd.go.th/en
You can access to their composite loop, but individual radar data don’t seem very well synchronised.

I hope you are at least talking to them about what is going on.

Do you think that TMD will change anything if Windy ask for better data ?

@idefix37 it does not seem to be tmd where its coming from, because tmd is actually working.

Further, whatever data windy is getting, I doubt it is free.

@William-Ridsdill Lads, there's a new app called Zoom Earth, which has accurate Thailand radar overlaid on maps. Not quite as fancy and feature-packed as Windy, but at least it's reliable. Ondrej seems to be a one-man-band at Windy, and though he works hard it's now gotten away from him I think. Having no Thailand radar, when both TMD and Zoom Earth have it, suggests a bigger problem with Windy. And all Ondrej can say is that it's someone else's fault. Not good enough.

@Colin-in-BKK thanks for the info. I likenrhis app, i like that ots on my pc and my phone. I don't want to give up on it, and I het that those of us looking for radar here are probably not the devs biggest audience. So I kinda get we might not be top priority.

On the other hand, something more than, 'its not me' would be nice to hear.

Anyway, some partial coverage is back, looks like bangkok and one in isaan is back up. ![alt text](image urlScreenshot_2023-09-11-06-10-52-886_com.windyty.android.jpg )

@capp-0 also, it looks like zoom has the same blank spots, its just not showing if areas have coverage or not. So areas with 0 data just look like nothings on the radar, not that coverage is down.

@capp-0 just looked at tmd national composite and im about 80% sure zoom have the same data missing.

That makes me think there is some entity who was taking tmd data, digitizing it and reselling it, and they are in fail mode right now.
