Wind particles?
-
I am not seeing the wind particles on my laptop, although they are there on my phone. Is anyone aware of an issue here, or is there something I need to do to correct this?
Thanks. -
@Canuck-Sailor you have to activate it. At the bottom right close to the pressure line. You have to click on it and animation will be on again

-
@Yves70 tried that. Not working. I don't know what the problem is.
-
@Canuck-Sailor May I ask about the browser, you use? Also can you please test it in a private window of the browser?
-
@Ondřej-Šutera Mac OS 12.5 Monterey, and it doesn't work in an incognito window on chrome, and Chrome is up to date
Version 116.0.5845.179 (Official Build) (arm64). MacBook Pro, 2021.
Windy IS working on Safari and Opera. -
@Canuck-Sailor Thank you for letting me know. I will test the behavior and will keep you posted.
-
@Ondřej-Šutera Thank you. I can use Safari if I must, but it's inconvenient to do so.
-
@Canuck-Sailor Unfortunately, I am not able to replicate this and it is strange that there is no issue with the rest of browsers.
At this moment, it seems that there is something installed on the Chrome on your end, that could block the feature.
-
@Ondřej-Šutera That makes sense. What could it be that is blocking the particles form moving? Any ideas? Where would I start looking?
-
@Canuck-Sailor Maybe some add-ons or extensions of the browser, or something that can affect the performance of device (optimalization settings).
-
@Ondřej-Šutera where would I even begin to look?
-
@Canuck-Sailor It is difficult to say, but you can check any installed addons in the browser.

@Ondřej-Šutera I have three extensions in use on Gmail - ad block, EMail tracker for Gmail and Save to Pocket. I've had them on there forever, so I don't see them as being the problem.
