I tested it in the production version of our app on iPhone 14 witht the latest iOS and it works okay.

Basically don’t hear them on iPhone anymore, occasionally on iPad. Have current iOS versions. Might they be in the plan to come back someday?
If you look at Mississippi now, the whole state is filled with lightening, but no sounds.
