It works again, after today's app store update. Both radar and satellite.

Well, that was premature. The problem is back, but it is intermittent. It happens both on the iPhone running iOS 17.0.2 and iPad running iPadOS 17.0.1. This time around, restarting the app (by swiping it up on the app selection screen, then relaunching it) cured it, but on previous occassions, that was not enough.

Moreover, the radar image does show up in the radar widget, just not in the main app. And even more interesting, I can see the data is there, just not the graphics. How? By moving the map around. A crosshair shows up, and an indicator of rain intensity is shown on the screen. (In dBZ or as I have done, reconfigured to show mm/h.) As I move the map around, the number changes, certainly indicating that the information is in the app, it just doesn't manage to draw it.

I have different issues on different devices:

1.) On mobile Pixel 4a with recent CalyxOS 4.13.2, tested with browsers Mull, Cromite and Chromium by Calyx:
Radar and Satellite are not working. Both with Error "It seems that satellite/radar failed. Satellite/Radar uses WebGL technology, that can occasionaly fail on some devices.

What can you do? Update your browser or Windy application to the latest version. And try again please"

2.) On Windows 11 with LibreFox:
No Error with Radar, but Radar is not shown at all.
On Satellite the same error as above

3.) On Windows 11 with FireFox:
            Everything works as expected.

4.) On Windows 11 with MS Edge:
            Everything works as expected.

CalyxOS and LibreFox are pretty restrictive concerning tracking and advertising. Did you implement recently anything from a 3rd party that may be blocked by my setup? I'm a premium member, so this hopefully shouldn't be an issue though.

@DerClari Unfortunately, this is probably related to CalyxOS and their certain changes in WebGL configuration, which is necessary for radar and satellite correct displaying.

I am afraid that we cannot do much about this, but I will discuss this with colleagues.

@Ondřej-Šutera Thanks for answering. The error code and screenshots are from Windows 11 with LibreWolf, not CalyxOS. On CalyxOS "only" Satellite and Radar aren't working.

@DerClari Do you mean the LibreWolf or is it another browser?

                      @Ondřej-Šutera LibreWolf, sorry. My fault.

@DerClari I discussed this with colleagues and we are not able to help you with the issue with LibreWolf browser or custom CalyxOS.
