I don't think that's going to be high enough as some places regularly reach 55 during summer

@Bennnyyy You are right that the scale is a bit limited in the case of extreme temperature, but we still cover these colors in our layers. You usually recognize this with almost black color.

In Settings you can get the complete colour scale for temperature and other layer:

@idefix37 I found this capability to be very useful for other layers too. I'm often looking for very small changes in temperature and pressure so having a fine-tuned color scale is super helpful.
