NOAA NDBC

I saw this has been posted at some point in the past; maybe i just didn't find it/am dumb. Could you integrate live NOAA NDBC info to windy? Similar to the live webcams, where you click the icon then the sidebar would show latest data. (link to my local favorite: https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=46084). I use windy frequently as a surfer and USCG licensed captain; having the live data feed integrated to compare against model predictions would be incredible for contrasting live vs. predicated in specifically locales (how does the model get things wrong in a constant manner in that place?) A live feed to compare to - which i would be able to build a working knowledge of easily if integrated - would enable better decisions for my surfing and the safety of my people as i build that contrast.

To expand: for example, i have marine weather sources where I know, for a specific area, to divide forecasted seas by 3 to get a realistic/accurate sea height. I'd love to have similar knowledge for the local buoys vs windy model predictions, and integrating NOAA data sets to display a live feed would make that easier.

You can compare observations from weather buoys and models prediction. Select Reported wind or Reported temperature. These buoys are labelled ship but they are buoys as this example in the mobile app:
However in Windy reported waves are not displayed.

@idefix37 it would be very nice if a link to the bouy NHDB site was included.

@idefix37 ok awesome! a good starting point. Especially for the marine buoys though, integrating wave data - which comes from the same source - would be hugely helpful. But the pressure and wind reporting being integrated at least gets me headed in the right direction about expectations VS. reality.
