Web browser doesn't update throughout the day

Hi,
Maybe I am missing something, but (currently on the free version) the data on a web browser doesn't automatically update. For example, I loaded the site yesterday (Monday 18th) at 8AM. This morning (Tuesday), the site is still showing "Monday 18 - 8:00"
Is there a way to have the page refresh itself at a set interval so that the data is always current?

@Ondřej-Šutera Hello Ondřej-Šutera, The request is not to turn off the background map. Rather, it's just to keep the large-scale (zoomed out) style when zooming into smaller scales instead of automatically switch to the very busy detailed map style. Below are two screenshots showing the threshold between the two styles. There should be a way to choose between the two at any (or most) scales rather than automatically switching at a fixed scale threshold. Thanks.

The request of @chrismillard is not what you said !
You want Windy to let you view weather layers at higher zoom levels instead of showing the base map. But due to the resolution of weather models, you won't get more details in the weather layer.
Here is the the wind forecast of HRRR model with a 3 km resolution, the highest in Windy for the US (with customised color scale).
Do you think the same picture at higher zoom level would give you more details?
