New to Windy. I'm trying to enter GPS coordinates in the search thingy, then when that location pops up, add a favorite at that location. I know how to add a fav once the crosshairs are over the location. But when I enter the GPS cord (eg, 27.1 -83.1) and hit done or return, nothing happens except the search bar goes away. Thanks

      A little more experimenting....

      1. if I enter 27-84 the following choices pop up:
        1.png
none of which are what I entered

      2. if I enter 27-83, the following nonsense choices pop up:
        2.png

Is there any way to actually get the crosshairs located at a specific location using gps coord so I can drop a favorite there?

If it matters, I'm trying to use windy for offshore weather & wave heights. My plan is to drop favorites in the areas I generally go and then put the crosshairs over the favs so I can check the conditions at various locations.

      Thanks again!

Thanks! I did get it to work on win 10 and iphone 13 ver 16.6.1 by using this format:

          36°59'21.2"N 84°13'53.3"W

Being verbose for others in the future:
I replaced, number for number, the coordinate I wanted and it worked. On the iphone long press on brings up the degree symbol, on a win 10 physical keyboard, I just copied the symbol from another post. The " (double tick) and ' (single tick)from both keyboards worked. There is one space in the entire coordinate string. I used two decimal points as shown and used a following zero if I didn't have a number to use after the decimal point.

Now all I need to do is figure out how to rename a fav.

          Thanks for the help!

In the iPhone, open your list of Favorites by clicking on your picture profile. Then press the small pencil on right side of each favorites to rename them.
