I have an issue with widget location. It shows different location a couple of hundred kilometers of my location. When I open the widget the my location is correct but the weather shows still the wrong location. All the permissions are enabled so that has to be a bug. I'm on S24 Ultra.

the radar app you're using may not be updating in real-time or may not be configured to display all weather alerts. Make sure you have the latest version of the app and check its settings to ensure alerts are enabled. You might also consider using a different weather app or website that specializes in real-time warnings for more accurate information.

Hi @zoroxanime sounds like you’re having a persistent issue with the widgets not updating after restarting your Pixel 7 on Android 14. I know how frustrating that can be, especially when the issue seems to reoccur even after clearing cache and data. It might be related to recent updates or something specific to the Pixel’s interaction with the app. Hopefully, a future update will provide a more permanent fix. I had the same issue with the Windy widget not updating. Here's what worked for me, I enabled notifications in the app settings, set location access to Allow all the time, and changed the battery usage to Unrestricted. After doing this, the widget started updating properly and hasn't had any issues since. Hopefully, this helps.

I don't understand what's happening. I don't have a Battery menu in the settings. Is it because I'm on android 14? here are my settings. My widget always "can't load location"

@serkef Unfortunately, Android 14 chose very confusing way how to allow the battery consumption. Please tap on the text, not the switch, of this option:

Steps didnt work either, Samsung Galaxy S24, adding a widget is impossible, all buttons are frozen except text size and opacity. Android 14-11, One UI 6.1.75, windy 43.0.5

I had problems with widgets not displaying anything. I resolved this by setting location in the windy widgets app (not the windy app itself!) to always. My phone is a Samsung S22 ultra. Now I can even use a different weather model instead of the useless ECMWF when I tap the widget to open windy. Win-win! 💪

When I add the Detail widget it says battery use is restricted. I've confirmed that it unrestricted, tried clearing storage and cache, and uninstall/reinstall.
Pixel 7 Pro, Android 15 with current patch release.
I have a premium subscription, please fix this.
