Resolving Issues with Android Widgets: A Step-by-Step Guide
-
@Daniel-01 Hi, I see your Premium is active so the extended forecast should be as well. Can you please describe where you missed the forecast? Screenshot would be perfect.

I have an annoying problem where the widget works fine until I open the windy app using the widget then for some strange reason the widget shows "cannot load your location" error after I've finished using the windy app. It will then just randomly start working sometime in the future and it is really frustrating. This issue has been going for almost a year or so. I've followed all the steps to fix issues by uninstalling/reinstalling windy and the widget, battery optimisation and location settings. I'm using a Samsung s24 Ultra.

@WillanZar Hello, when you open the widget settings, do you see any errors there?
-
@Suty no errors.
-
@Suty song going into the widget settings and adding it again will fix it straight away, but I shouldn't have to add the widget again.
-
@WillanZar Can you please keep the new one and let me when it will crash again?
-
How to start s new topic? How to change the temperature scale on the widget?
-
@Ryan-Michaelson What unit do you use in app and what appears in widgets?
-
Hi is there a download link to place windy.com on my SAMSUNG?
-
@DonCMacleay Hi, we offer our app via Google Play, you should be able to find Windy.com there as an app.
Please be aware that we have red logo and any other app with similar name and blue logo has nothing in common with us. -
I am experiencing an issue with weather data not displaying correctly on the map. The message “No data!” appears in several regions, including Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia, even though my internet connection is working perfectly. I have already deleted and reinstalled the app, but the problem persists.
Device: iPhone 15 Pro Max
Operating System: iOS 18.4
App Version: [You can find it in the app settings]I kindly ask you to investigate this issue and release an update if necessary.
