Black screen on Apple watch when adding favorite metar

When trying to type in the metar id in the favorite metar screen on the watch, the screen goes black. Pressing the crown takes me back to the watch face, but pressing any windy complication shows the blank screen until I reboot the watch.
It would be nice if you could favorite one from the list of nearby locations.
