what is going on with that wind?

I tried route planner feature and I got this strange graph of wind direction. Is it relative to direction of travel? How to turn that off so it will show absolute direction? I am pretty sure wind is not changing that much during this time.

Yes, the default setting of the wind direction is relative to your course (if you imagine it from left to right side of your screen).
Click More, near the 3 dots in bottom right corner, and change the direction reference to North up.
