Iridium GO! exec - IP Addresses for Firewall Policy

Re: White list - fire wall
Hi Ivo, we have an Iridium GO! Exec that we want to use for offshore for races - such as the Sydney to Hobart. I would like to use Windy but due to the high cost and our data limit on satellite time, it's very important to set up the profile on the "exec" terminal to block all traffic except for the app we want to use.
Do you have a set of IP addresses for the Windy Servers that we can whitelist? -
Hi @TandemTime, unfortunately we cannot handle this but you can try our Beta version of Offline mode, if it is relevant for you.

@Ondřej-Šutera Thanks for the reply. Offline won't work for a 5 day offshore race. We need weather updated regualrly.

@Aleksei-Iakovlev Hello, may I ask why you want this? You posted it under the offline mode, which hasn't been active for a long time.

@Suty I use Windy via the Iridium GO! exec satellite link. The data channel bandwidth is very small (88 kbps - down, 88 kbps - up), so when using Windy, I need to restrict all traffic other than Windy own. To do this, I need the IP address ranges that Windy uses (which is impossible, as yours are dynamic) or the domain masks used by Windy (which is possible).

sorry, right - (88 kbps - down, 22 kbps - up). This channel's bandwidth is definitely enough to run Windy, but I want to do it efficiently, cutting off unnecessary background data from other apps on my device.

@Aleksei-Iakovlev Hey there :) Unfortunately, we primarily use Google Cloud and their CDN to host Windy. I think you could find their IP ranges somewhere, but it would be very dynamic and there would be a lot of them, so it's not a sustainable solution.
As for domain mask, I'm not 100% sure if I understand what you're referring to, but allowing windy.com and all its subdomains should be enough, we don't use 3rd party partners or tracking within our apps or website. If you need a list of subdomains, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to provide them, since we do reserve the right to move our services around and frequently do precisely that.
