Can’t scroll through weather station historical data on iPad

Whenever I tap on a weather station to see past data on the iPad, it loads showing the reading for about 25 hours ago. I can’t scroll to show any newer data, as it just keeps bouncing back to 25 hours ago. It looks like it’s linked to the red circle showing the range of data that is currently displayed. I can scroll to data older than 25 hours without a problem, it just doesn’t show recent data.

I’m on the most recent version of windy, although this has been happening for a long time. iPadOS 17.0.3. This glitch does not happen on the iPhone version.

Here are screenshots. In fact when the iPad is in landscape mode, which the normal way, there is no way to read the reported values during the latest hours.

But in portrait mode it is possible
