      I live in Cromwell New Zealand. The "current" temperature on the map is consistently about 10°C lower than it actually is.
      Just wondering where you get these from??

        @jaga99 Hi, did you compare more models in Windy? Or which one do you check specifically?

          @jaga99
          The temperature you see on the map is the temperature predicted by the ECMWF weather model. It is not a reported temperature as there is no weather station shown in Windy at Cromwell.
          You can select different weather models in Windy. The Australian model ACCESS seems to provide more accurate temperatures.
          Compared to a weather station in Queentown the best model in thus region is METEOBLUE, but you can select it only in the point forecast panel.

          The METEOBLUE model is not available in the map, only in this panel.

          Weather models covering the whole globe are not able to provide accurate temperature in place like Cromwell surrounded by mountains because of their medium resolution, 9 km for the ECMWF model.

            @jaga99 It would be great if you are able to provide your screenshot of what you see exactly, so we can check if there is any issue or it is related to inaccuracy of certain models for example.
