Category 5 Hurricane Otis makes landfall in Acapulco

Hurricane Otis in the Eastern Pacific has astonishingly intensified from a tropical storm to a Category 4 hurricane in just 12 hours.

It's now on track to make a catastrophic Category 5 landfall near Acapulco, Mexico, a city with a population of 1 million.
