Guys, I use windy daily for my work on the north slope of Alaska and 95 % you are spot on. The issue I have is I've tried using the wave info on 3 separate boating outings and you have been 100% wrong. You were calling for 1 foot seas and we were in 5-6 footers by the end of the outage. I think you need to link to the current buoys of NOAA. I hope this helps. I have two dates that you can go back and look what you had and what really we had for weather.
July 30 out of cook inlet showed 1 foot seas and we had 4-6 footers. 10/23 you showed 1 footers in Prince William Sound (PWS) and the waves were 4-6 foot. I hope this helps with the wave indication on your weather app.

For weather or wave forecast Windy doesn’t rely on weather station or weather buoys. Windy visualises the data of major weather models and wave models like ECMWF, GFS, ICON….So there is no way to improve those predictions with weather stations or weather buoys.
Have you tried the 3 wave models in Windy?
