@mbmpc We use different provider for data in Brazil and they have an issue with this location.

This is because radar and lightning detection are 2 different systems.

@Suty Two years ago it was working, I paid Windy to keep track of the rains on the radar, but the radar is no longer working. It's no longer worth paying for the subscription.

I know they are predictions, I don't even know which one to trust, one day I looked at the models it was raining so much and it didn't rain at all. That's why it would be good to have a radar, next year I'll cancel windy's subscription. );

@mbmpc Hi, we are aware of this issue, but it is simply not caused by us. I know that this situation is not good for locals, but we simply don't have any reliable source to take and provide these data at this moment.

@Suty I wanted to subscribe to an annual plan to check the radar and track the rainfall in my region. Since 2024, this issue still hasn't been fixed.

@mbmpc Hi, we are aware of this issue with Brazilian radars, where they have various sources and formats of data for this tech. Unfortunately, we cannot do more now with this region.

The state of Ceará has local sources of meteorological radar data that can be integrated into Windy. The Fundação Cearense de Meteorologia e Recursos Hídricos (Funceme) operates weather radars in Quixeramobim and Fortaleza, providing updated information on weather conditions in the region (funceme.br). Additionally, the Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (INMET) provides meteorological data covering the state of Ceará (portal.inmet.gov.br). Another source is RainViewer, which offers live weather radar data for Brazil, including Ceará (rainviewer.com).
