Measuring distance and droping waypoint

If you start from a fixed location, can you drop a waypoint a specific distance and direction from the start point. I saw someone on line using the program and he was able to click the starting point and drag the cursor away and a line would appear between the starting point and cursor, which also showed the distance. He the, but releasing the mouse, drop the waypoint a certain distance from the beginning point. How do you do that. I have Windy on Windows.

I think this way can be done on the mobile app, not on windows.

I think, he clicked the mouse to pick pt1 📍, pressed the button and moved pt2...🪡
You can also move the fixed points or create pt3, pt4...
delete pts with the (x) beneath a mark.
