Weather picker is always on. Why not have the option to have it always closed?

Hi,

There is no option to always have the weather picker closed. Now it's from 3 seconds to always on. I was really disappointed when the new version of Windy was released, and discovered that the weather picker was unchanged. Why can't we have a option where it is always closed?

The new weather picker is especially annoying when using a tablet. I really want it disabled as default.

Yes, I agree the new picker is not a good change on tablets.
On iPad, if you use 2 fingers instead of one, you can move the map without bringing up the damn crosshairs.
